Behind the Design: The Wand

Behind the Design: The Wand

Jane West

Back in 2016, the idea for The Wand started with a question; why does *gear* still feel separate from everything else we carry?

Jane kept coming back to the objects already living in her bag. Mascara. Lip color. The small, well-designed things you reach for without thinking. They’re sleek, familiar, and built to move through the day with you. That became the reference point.

The Wand was shaped to feel like one of those essentials. Slim, polished, and easy to carry, it blends in naturally on a vanity or in a purse. Nothing loud about it. Just an object that feels intentional and comfortable to handle.

Inside, the details follow the same logic. Jane’s signature Solo rests inside a self-cleaning cap, so it stays tidy between uses. The swivel compartment holds just enough flower for a night out. Everything you need lives in one place, without overcomplicating it.

The visual direction pulls from beauty editorials and everyday objects that balance form and function. Clean lines. Soft tones. Pieces that feel personal rather than technical. The idea wasn’t to reinvent anything dramatic. It was to design a flower accessory that sits naturally alongside the things people already use and love.

The Wand is part of Jane’s first collection of flower essentials, built around real life. Busy schedules, social plans, everyday moments. It’s meant to feel familiar from the first time you pick it up.

Because life is #BetterWithJane.
